My name is Cherie Adams. I am an award-winning recording artist and author but more importantly, I am wife to Kevin and mom to Santiago, Sebastiano, and Ellianna. Occasionally, I get these inspirations I want to write about so I decided to write a blog. I am deeply inspired by my family, my relationship with Christ, and my cherished time spent at the beach. 

My relationship with Jesus is exactly like the ocean for me. The rise and fall of the ocean waves, the push and pull of the tide, and the force of the crashing waves on the shore are a few examples of how life can feel sometimes. One minute, you’re riding the barrel of a wave like a breeze but then other times, it spits you out on the sand with such unbelievable force, that you don’t know what happened to you! Through all of the twists and turns and even when I am weary and spent, no matter what—I am consecrated to the Lord. 

I don’t always understand why God does what He does, and I certainly never understand why He doesn’t do what I think He is going to do! But honestly, I love Him. I adore Him. I love Jesus for giving His life on the cross for my sins so many years ago. I love Him for what He did personally in my own life. 

After being slammed on the shore of life through loss, heartbreak, and pain, He brought me from brokenness to wholeness in such a unique way. He made Himself tangibly real to me and I just want to tell the whole wide world about it. I have such a heart for single ladies, especially middle, high school, and college-age girls. When I look at my beautiful daughter, I desire her to grow up confidently knowing exactly how much Jesus cherishes her like the treasure she is! She is most valuable to Jesus–that’s a fact–and every young girl needs to learn this! Friends come and go, talents lose their luster, and beauty fades—therefore our identity can never be in anything else but Jesus.
